We made a quick stop in the San Rafael Swell to check out Ding and Dang canyons but unfortunately the thunderstorms rolled in and we were only able to get sections of both canyons in without completing the full cucuit.

 What we did get to see was interesting as the line cut sandstone wash had different colors to it and was interesting to climb around.

 We particularly liked how the slab rock was so, well... slabby and we could hike up and around obstacles with ease.

 We got half way up ding and about half way up dang as we saw the thunderstorm roll in and did not want the canyon to flash on us while we were here.

 There are some small obstacles like a few climbs and a little bit of water to traverse through but overall this canyon was not difficult to get through.

 I am looking forward to coming back many times to the swell and I hope I can run a few of the technical canyons in the area.

 This canyon circuit didn't seem as busy as some of the other ones as due to the washed out road that people have to take to get here which might help keep a filter up so people don't stomp all over this canyon.
