Nevada is starting to get quite impressive with the caves that exist in the state and with the regard to all of the small but surprisingly decorated rooms that some of these caves have developed. |

There are approximately 314 mountain ranges that exist in the state of Nevada
some there are a number of ranges that hold vast unexplored regions of limestone mountains within these remote mountains.

There is not doubt that exploration within these desolate mountains can render cave systems with some surprisingly amazing karst features and artifacts inside.

Justin Bailey, Dakota Drew and myself headed out into one of these ranges to visit some known caves and ridge walk the mountain with the hope of finding more leads, both objectives were met.

Dakota and Justin are new cavers to the Southern Nevada Grotto and they have been active to seek caving opportunities to explore the Nevada desert.

I always welcome any qualified person that has an interest in caving to join me. I wish I had those opportunities when I started caving so it is always a pleasure to nourish peoples healthy ambitions for safe caving activities

I encourage anyone who is interested to learn more about caving in Nevada to reach out to their local grotto or reach out to the Southern Nevada Grotto.
Ball Cave, Nevada |
Ball cave is at least 200ft in length and is basically one standing room full of decorated formations and interesting colors on the wall.

Little ball cave was a miniature version of Ball cave as it was basically one room where I had to be on hands and knees. I also found some local spines from a cactus that casually found their way into my knee as I was crawling into the back of Little Ball cave.

I am looking forward to going back to this region to search for more caves and to hike through the mountains.
