Nevada mining has been a significant industry throughout the history of the state. Although not as prevelant, mining is a significant industry in the personality of what makes Nevada in the present.

I have not seen much discussion on mines the break into caves or caves that have broken into mines so with this particular cave, I am calling it “ house of stone cave”

This was originally a cave that appeared to have been mined extensively for resources.

The multiple entrances appear to be solutions in nature but when the mining industry found this cave, apparently they felt like they could get more out of it.

The further back I get into the cave, the more “ unnatural “ it appeared and the more destruction can be seen.

The cave itself was completely gutted for resources and talus piles were out on the front entrance.

Its interesting to see how the mining industry has come in and destroyed the cave for resources and a reason why caves are kept quiet when they are discovered.
