LITTLEFIELD SINKSOLE, ARIZONA

Littlefield SinkHole
Littlefield Sink is a sink collapse in a alluvial fan in the northwest corner of Arizona. There is a dirt road that takes people out to this sink which was just a quick stop off the highway.

You are able to walk down into the sink from the sloping pile of scree to the south of the sink itself. At the bottom of this sink there is some debris from campers and possibly a site where Indians might have swelled.

The passage is more of an alcove of sorts and did not go anywhere so we ended up leaving shortly after arriving and continued on with our journey.
