COBOLT CAVE, NEVADA
December 19, 2021
Cobolt cave is another newly discovered cave in Nevada. I named this cave because it has a cobalt look on the inside and it is an aid climb to get into the entrance of the cave.
The cave has some interesting corrosion residue on the walls and a lot of corrosion on the stone itself, there is apparent
signs of pastime waterflow as well.
If there was some type of opening, I suspect that we would find a highly decorated cave if this sulfuric acid was able to be present as it is in a few other caves.
Continued exploration will happen, and I have a feeling we will find something significant soon.
