North wash is a micro Mesa of beautiful sandstone canyons tucked away in navajo sandstone.
There are over 10 routes here that can be accessed by all cars in most conditions.
This time around one of the morning canyons
we selected was blarney canyon.
We hiked up to the ridge and around to the proper can to ensure that we did not
Go down the wrong canyon and end up in a less than favorable situation.
Once we got into blarney canyon I was surprised to see how narrow and scenic.
This canyon is relative to some of the others in the area. There is one section that had beautifully fluted walls and an array of pink to violet color illuminating the walls.
It is also nice to be able to loop back up and around to other canyons right as you exit blarney.
We went for sheleiah canyon right afterwards.
