This spring resurgence has clear water at a temp of around 48 to 52 degrees. The spring appears to flow year round and one of those indicators
is the green vegetation under the water and the moss the lives on some of the small waterfalls along the way.

The rock appears to be some sort of quartzite like sandstone with some limestone properties. The rock a few hundred feet away is of a nice limestone looking rock. Since this resurgence was a potential dive, I brought 1 LP steel 50 filled to 3200 PSI of air and configured it for " no mount" dive operations.

I removed some of the debris at the entrance floor and was able to belly crawl my into the cave and continue to push the passage for 50 feet until I was blocked by a rock. There were roots growing through cracks and the rock on the walls and ceiling appeared to be a bit crumbly. the passage opened up a bit to a tube like passage of 2x2 ft and at time it appeared to be 3x2 ft. I measured the passage by body lengths and no samples were taken.
