KOLOB CREEK NARROWS

Kolob Creek Narrows Zion National Park, Utah.
After exiting Boundary Canyon, we came to the confluence of Kolob Creek Canyon and all we had to do was follow the water downstream to the MIA exit. We stopped to eat some lunch and headed out towards the MIA exit.

The Canyon was beautiful and remind me of the Narrows but with less people and the walls a bit closer together.

It was a fantastic trek as the water babbled across the cobblestone and larger boulders echoing white noise more as we got to small sections of rapids.

There was a point where the canyon narrowed quite a bit to the point where you were almost able to touch both sides and it would widen out after that.  Very beautiful and no people were ever spotted in the canyon.

There was a point where we had to plunge into the water and swim a bit which was refreshing while wondering when the MIA exit would appear.  Eventually we saw the rock cairns and we were at the start of the famous MIA exit that would take us back to the car.  If we kept going we would connect to the main narrows section and come out at the temple but that would have taken over a day to complete.
