DANTES DESCENT

Dante's Descent |
Dantes Descent is a 280ft pit that is basically a sinkhole that opened up under the basalt layer and collapsed the remaining rock above the cavity, forming a circular hole in the ground. The Redwall limestone and the black basalt gives this Karst feature quite the interesting appeal to where the hole gets its name from.
