Some of these caves and shelters I have stayed in myself for a night and a "jump point" to continue exploration into deeper places within the desert mountains.

In this case, finding bulbus formations, hundreds of feet of passage, and a torch at the entrance was quite the find.

Lord sargoth cave is a newly discovered Nevada cave that has some interesting features inside its hundreds of feet of passage.

This cave has a massive entrance and a series of separated passages that go into the mountain.

When I walked up on this cave, I was impressed with its entrance and quickly ran around the back of the entrance to attempt entry into the back passages.

I was happy to find going passages but no so happy to crawl through some unique needle like spines that bedded the floor. I soon named this cave, the tingle jingle balls crawl. Yup they found their way into less favorable corners of my anatomy.

Heading around to the next passage I immediately saw a stick that had been stuck in the upper wall of the entrance. A torch! The Indians must have lit this torch using fast burning yucca and entered the cave for a small amount of time. I wonder if water was more abundant in this cave in the past?

In todays times the cave still drips from active formations including another faucet that was located towards the back of the cave. Proper photos and a survey still need to be completed.
