It is amazing to know that there are so many canyons right next door from Las Vegas

These recent canyon visitations which I like to refer to as; " Not your first descent, first descent" canyons have been previously been explored. 

Yet they have been kept quite, allegedly for the sake of protecting a canyon from being bolted. 

Indeed bolting is illegal in this use area so don't place bolts in these canyons AND dont remove bolts in these canyons if you encounter them. 

Failure to leave the canyons raw and natural will result in a dick measuring match with the opposing parties. Thankfully, we have something for them as well. 

This canyon I decided to call The Big Pink.  It is a long hike for the region to only drop a 40 ft rap and a 120 ft rap into the colorado river.  The last rap is a nice one and the packrafting is beautiful, but I only give these one 2 stars for the approach and the lack of raps in this short canyon. 

Don't be that person bolting and removing bolts from canyons.  We are canyoneering to have fun with friends and enjoy the outdoors and care less about what you think is right or wrong on your preference of anchorage.
