Cathedral cave is a nice Nevada cave that was a bit better than I actually expected the cave to be.
The hike was rather short to the large cave entrance but once inside of the cave the passage was mostly walking and there were a lot of decorations within the walking corridors of the cave itself.
There were junctions that went left and right where we had passage with galleries for formations on the wall and columns formations on the corners
Continuing up into a smaller section of the cave, the passage got a bit tighter and opened up into a highly decorated room full of formations and a very interesting looking flow stone structure.
back out in the main corridors and heading up the cave, the passage continued to be walking passage and showed no signs human use for quite some time.
more galleries of formations where in the back of the cave and although Nevada caves are quite small, this one was rather impressive.
I am looking forward to checking out this range further for more caves.
