The documents describe a "Large Cave" with prehistoric pictographs
and historic writing.
We set out to look for Yellowman Cave but ended up finding another cave as well as found ourselves a bit high from where the location of this cave exists.
I set up another trip and we were able to locate the existence of this place.
I do not consider this a cave but more of
a extended shelter of sorts.
It did appear to follow a fault into some very crumbly rock 60-70 back into the shelter.
When we came to the location, we entered with extreme caution to ensure nothing was disturbed.
We passed by a small amount of solutional activity including some small popcorn on the floor.
The ceiling had some solutional activity, but the rest of the shelter was a shelter.
There was a burnt ceiling in the
back with an old hole that was made.
Also, the pictographs were visible. The most visible was the trapezoidal figure of a humanoid on the wall that was around 7 inches in length. This same humanoid has been found in two other locations within southwest Nevada.
Additionally, there was writing that said, " Death Valley Curley Beatty Nev." and "Dennis"
I was expecting a lot more from this location but it was quite fascinating to see a yellow pictograph with other historic relics inside.
