SLATE LAKE CAVE.
October 13, 2017
It is estimated that these flows have been formed between 1000 years ago and 6 million years ago but the western region, where this tube is located, more in the range of 1 million to 6 million years old.
The cave is around 900ft in length and has multiple entrances once you get into the collapse entrance.
One direction had some interesting formations on the walls with corrosion residue embedded into the basalt and another section had a interesting lava bed down a tube.
